My name is David Dai, I'm a junior students and it's my second year here. My favorite subject is Math because I can get a high score on math easily. And in math we will meet many difficult questions, I like to solve problems because it's sense of accomplishment I usually play badminton on weekends and I will spend two hours to play with my little sister everyday. We will read the book together and her favorite book is Peppa Pig. And we will also play games together in order to strengthen our relationship. At first I afraid my parents will only care about my sister, because in China it's rare to have 2 child in a family after 2000, When my sister grow up I realize my previous thinking is totally wrong. Because she is my best friend in my family. And my mom care about two of us. I'm a person that likes to play computer games and play sports. And I also like to eat many food because when I take class in China i always order Chinese traditional food, In my opinion Chinese food is the best.
This summer I went to Russia with my mom and my cousin. We have lots of fun there. But the most memorizing thing is when i was making matryoshka doll. I and my mom had a great time at that factory. After 30 minutes drive from the hotel, we arrive a factory in a small town. At first we watched a handcraft people making the matryoshka doll in a same size, After that we went to an art room to create our own matryoshka doll. The doll standing on the desk and the people already help you to draw the pencil line on the matryoshka doll so you just have to paint the color on it. In the picture I'm painting a matryoshka doll my painting skill is very bad but I still trying to make a creative thing. I think this is a interesting thing because it's important me, it's my first time to focus on painting.
This two pictures present I went to Australia with my parents And I only have two times to go with my parents together to travel. So each journey is a precious memory. This is my first time went to Australia with my parents we had a great time there. In picture 2 we were in Sydney at that time. Sydney was a beautiful place. The famous opera "Sydney opera" was in Sydney. I really want to travel with my mom and dad, because after my sister joined to our family we barely go travel together, because my mom have to take care of her. At that time I think we will have many times to travel together, Nowadays I'm very regret. In the first picture we went to a wild animal zoo to watch koala. Koala usually sleep during the day and it will get food at night. Personally koala is a weird animal, I think their ears is strange. In Australia we taste lots of sea food because it's near to the sea. In Australia there were many kinds of sea food and it was delicious.
It was my first time went back to my hometown ShanDong. When I was six I went back to my home town with my parents and this is my first time go traveling with my parents. When we arrive our hometown we went to the fist of "wu yue" that was a name of the mountain. That mountain was very famous and it's the highest in my hometown. At that time I was short and thin, but now I'm tall and chubby. We lived on the top of the mountain, in order to watched the sun rise. But we had to wake up at four. I was very tired and I was lazy to move. At first the sun raised a little bit and the color was yellow after two minutes the color turned to red. After I watched the whole process I wasn't regret because it's my first time to watched this kind of scene.
First I choose literature and performance because I want to try. Previously I afraid to act in front of people, I afraid they will laugh at me. I want to use this chance to improve myself and I want to change to a confident person. Second I have heard that Ms. Guarino's class have fun and you can also gain knowledge during the class. So that's why I choose this class.
