Montague and Capulet

If I'm the director of the play. I will make them similar on wealth by having similar costume. Because both of them are nobles, and they have same wealth level. So they have to have similar costume. They can have luxury decorations on their clothes like diamonds, jewelries. In order to show the wealth I will also show the house that they live in. Big house with the valuable decoration. This can show the wealth. And every noble's house has many servants to help to do the house works, and they also have the leader to manage these servants. So Montague and Campulet both have servants, This show the societal level of them. Depending on where they come from they can also have some different cultural, artificial products that are stitched on the clothes. So this element will show that they are from different regions. And they can also have different accents, because they are from different areas. This will also show that they are from the different sides. And each side can have their own symbolism, So it's easier for audience to organize their identity. Personally, I prefer to use swords as the props, In the first place in their time period they only have metal weapons. In the second place they have to fight for the power. Because they are the enemies, both of them want to over controlled the other side. So they have to fight. And when Romeo and Juliet fall in love, I will let the parents to separate them, in order to show the bad relationship between them.
