Adaptation
Theme: comedic, Romeo and Juliet stay together in the end.
Scene: Classmates bully Juliet. fall in love, go to girls's dorm find Juliet. Go meet with Frair Lawrence in Cheshire Coffee. Marriage in Church. Mercutio go to Stop&Shop, stole money from Boss Tybalt. Tybalt told police officer---Prince Mercutio go to jail. Romeo hate Tybalt so he let Tybalt's company loose lots of money, so SS closed. Montague and Capulet have conflict in business circle. Romeo doesn't care about the score so he expelled from school. Capulet wants her daughter go to Capulet's company and Married Paris. But Juliet missed her husband. Juliet quit school secretly, go to find Romeo and stay with hime forever.
Characters: Romeo, Juliet, Nurse( female friend of Juliet, Romeo's sister), Capulet, Tybalt, Mercutio, Benvolio( good friend of Romeo), Paris
Staging: Modern costumes, wear T-shirt when they have conversation, have formal dress when they having the marriage. When two people fall in love play romantic music, when Romeo be expelled play sad music. When Capulet and Romeo is arguing use passion music.
setting: Romeo and Juliet are two university students. They fall in love after the bully event. (Juliet always bully by her classmates unless Nurse. One day Juliet be bullied, Nurse let his brother Romeo protect Juliet. Romeo helps Juliet to solve the problem and let the bad girl promise they won't bully Juliet next time. Juliet thinks Romeo is a good person and he is handsome. Then they fall in love. Romeo wants Tybalt and Capulet's company loose money he drop his class work, so the university expelled him. Capulet send Romeo to the court, because they think Romeo use illegal way let them loose money, after the government find the evidence, they banished Romeo, and let him live in the forest. After Juliet knows that she goes to find Fair Lawrence and asks him what should she do, Frair Lawrence said:" if you love go for it." so Juliet quit the school secretly and goes to find Romeo. After her family find out that their daughter is missing they find her for months, and then they give up. Juliet stay with Juliet forever.
Message: Youth of teenagers: teenagers can do anything they want, they won't care about the result. Love is insist, although Romeo be banished by government, Juliet never give up, she goes to find Romeo and stay together.
Beginning scene: Raining day, Juliet is bullied by her classmates. Nurse run to find her brother Romeo. The sky is dark and the sky has thunder sound.
End scene: two people look at the sky and shows the rainbow. Rainbow is colorful, shows their colorful life. They experience difficulty and happy time. There are difference between the beginning and the end. Compare the blue sky and dark sky.
Emotion: Romeo cried and yelled when he find out his friend Mercutio goes to jail. Juliet can cried after she knows her dad is going to send Romeo to court. Juliet yelling and cried to the Friar Lawrence ask the solution. Capulet cried after they know their daughter is missing. Juliet and Romeo laugh when they have good time together.
