In the play I interested in Act one scene 2 and scene 3. Our group also going to Act this out. For scene 2 is about the conversation between Laura and Amanda. They are argueing at first, because Amanda finds out that Laura didn’t go to the college. The people in the college even didn’t know Laura. After the arguing Laura said she loved one person in her high school. When she looked the picture of him she liked him. Laura thinks Jim’s voice is wonderful. And Jim used to call her “blue Rose”.  Then Amanda wants to let Laura and Jim to meet. For scene 3 is about Tom and Amanda is shouting at each other. Tom thinks Amanda is so annoy, in the end of scene 3 Tom said his mom is old witch. This shows his anger. In the end Tom breaks Laura’s Glass Menagerie. I interested in this two scene because the emotion of each character is complicated. For Laura in scene 2 she changes her mood from aggrieved to happiness. For Amanda she changes her mood from angry to happy. I want to really understand what are they thinking during that time period. In scene 3 at first Tom focus on the writing and Amanda keep annoying him. Amanda also says that writing can't earn money for the family. These words make Tom feels angry. In this Scene Laura doesn't say anything until her Glass Menagerie broken. But I think sometimes the person who has nothing to say is more difficult than the actor who has words to say. I interested in how to show the expression without any words. The character I play in this two scenes is Laura. I really want to challenge myself because act Laura is not a easy thing, although she has fewer word to say, she is a very important character in this play. I want to try my best to act a actor who doesn't have long sentences to say. Show the facial expression to the audience is very hard so I want to try for this time. This two scene is important because in Scene two Jim first present in the play, I think this scene helps explaining who is Jim, it also helps to set up the play. I think the relationship between Amanda and Laura also changed after Scene 2. Scene 3 helps to show the relationship between Tom and Amanda become worst, I think Laura becomes less confidence. Because her "friends: is broken and the Glass Menagerie means nothing from here.
