how to best perform your scene to highlight the specific literary elements and analysis you have identified

In the first place, In the second Scene, I should be familiar with the script. In the first draft, I did a bad job for the second scene. I forget I still have to go back to the dining room after I went to the kitchen. I should talk to my teammates to make sure the blocking of the play. I also forgot to say some lines in the first draft. So that I have to memorize all the lines well. I have to make sure that I won't make mistakes on the lines. 

I also thought about to change my tone and accent in the performance. Because Ma is a Haitian, I think when Haitian speak English they use a different accent. I think the accent is a very important element to show the identity of a character. Ma is a big role in the family. Everyone should listen to her. So I should use a tone that is powerful. Right now my tone is kind of flat so that the audience can't notice how powerful Ma is. After I changed my tone the audience can also notice the change of my emotion. 

I have to highlight the relationship between Ma and Caroline because, in the performance, they should have a special relationship. Ma cares about Caroline but Caroline doesn't want her mom to care too much about her. In the play, I should keep nagging to show I'm an annoying mother, I have to keep practicing this because nagging is very important for Ma. So that it's easy to highlight the analysis of this character. 

I think our group should also add some background music during the break of each scene, I think music is very important for a place because the music can show the literary elements and the emotion of the play.
