The first poem doesn't have a name, In the first line of this poem it says that" I'm-Nobody-who are you?" In this poem, Emily Dickinson shows her living style and exposes her opinion of people around her. Emily Dickinson has a completely different living style than other people. We can clearly notice that from the fourth and fifth line " Don't tell! they'd advertise-you know!" and " How public-like a Frog" In Dickinson's opinion, people besides her wants to be famous and they want to be the hot task and these people always like to discuss others. But Dickinson likes to stay alone by herself, she wants to be the person just like the one in the poem---"Nobody". In my opinion, she doesn't like to stay with others, maybe because she thinks she is different from others. Dickinson also doesn't like to use traditional writing style in her poem. In this poem, the scheme thyme is not in a normal order compare to other poems in this time period. I think it's also because she thinks she is different from others. She just wants to stay away from others, in social level, she wants to be quiet and be herself, in the personal level, she just wants to use her own style writing to express her feelings. There's another poem that has the first line " tell all the truth but tell it slant" in this poem, Emily Dickinson shows her thought about the truth she thinks the truth always be dazzle. She thinks the truth has many aspects, it can't be seen easily. In her mind, the people who can know the truth easily are blind. In the last two lines of this poem, Dickinson says that " The truth must be dazzle gradually or every man will be blind" In my opinion, Dickinson she is different from others, because many people just look at the surface of the truth, they won't think about it anymore after achieving the goal.
